No-Risk Warranty

Preview

With the No-Risk Guarantee, you can travel without worries. For €3.50 per day, your excess is covered up to €1,500. This includes coverage for tyres, underbody, roof, and mirrors. You’ll be well insured, without needing to purchase additional coverage at pick-up.

The No-Risk Guarantee is offered by Target Travel Services and can only be added to your booking in advance through us.

At the rental location

This guarantee is not available locally. The rental location may not be aware of the No-Risk Guarantee and may offer you additional insurance products. Don’t let this surprise you — with the No-Risk Guarantee, you’re already properly insured and can confidently decline any additional coverage.

Please note: if you still choose to accept additional insurance at the rental counter, these costs cannot be reimbursed by us, as you would be double insured.

Not sure whether everything is in order when picking up your car? Feel free to call us via the (emergency) number listed on your voucher. We're happy to help.

Also, keep in mind that the deposit amount will be held on your credit card.

Excess amounts

The amount of the excess depends on the destination and the type of rental car. You can find this information in the country-specific rental conditions and on your rental agreement. Below are some general guidelines:

Europe

An excess applies in Europe. The amount depends on the country and car category. This can be found in the conditions per country and is also stated on your rental voucher.

North America

There is no standard excess in the USA, so no additional insurance is needed there. However, there is an excess for tyre damage and towing costs, which are not included in the local insurance. With the No-Risk Guarantee, you’re covered up to €1,500 for these costs.
In Canada, the standard excess is CA$1,500.
In North America, you may also choose to add Roadside Assistance Plus for additional peace of mind.

Central and South America

The excess varies depending on the country and car category. You can find the exact amount in the conditions per country and on your rental voucher.

Australia

The excess also depends on the car type and location. Details can be found in the local conditions and your rental voucher.

Tyres, underbody, roof, mirrors and windows

Damage to tyres, underbody, roof, mirrors, or windows is not typically covered by the rental company. In the United States, some of these parts are insured, with the exception of the tyres.

With the No-Risk Guarantee, you’re also covered for this type of damage — no need to take out extra coverage on location. This is especially useful in destinations like Iceland, where gravel roads are common.

No-Risk Plus

In most cases, the excess is less than €1,500. However, on certain locations or with larger or luxury vehicles, the excess may be higher.

Want full coverage in those situations too? Choose the No-Risk Plus Guarantee. This option covers the full excess, regardless of the amount.

The cost of No-Risk Plus is €7.50 per day.
Have you already selected the standard No-Risk Guarantee (€3.50 per day)? You can easily upgrade to No-Risk Plus during the booking process by adding a surcharge of €4 per day.

Submitting a damage claim

Fill out the claim form as completely as possible and send it, along with all required documents, to info@alamo.nl. Once we’ve received all the necessary information, your claim will usually be processed within four weeks.
